The aRt bArN is a creative and dynamic space nestled within Juniper Sculpture Park that offers opportunities for emerging, experimental, and established artists. A place to explore new ideas, share past narratives, and grow new ones. Offering both interior and exterior spaces to show contemporary and contemplative art forms from pushing boundaries to sharing the beauty of expression in all forms. Here we welcome you all to share in the awe and power of art together.

Our Mission
However you want to say it—an itch that needs scratching, a mission to complete, the road not taken—all apply to how we got here to today. During midlife I decided to return to school for the joy of creating art and completed my BFA in Sculpture and Photography in 2021 and an MFA in 2024 while being a mother to my four wonderful children and working part time as a speech therapist. These combined experiences gave way to the beginning of Juniper Sculpture Park.
My mind was alive again and my eyes had a new vision. With the support of my partner Tom our vision grew to offering an outdoor space for the public to walk in nature, learn about nature, and discover art along the way. The aRt bArN is a bonus as it provides a place for pop-up art shows to occur and connections to be made. We know it is hard for emerging artists. Here artists can continue to build community outside of school, thus Juniper Sculpture Park and the aRt bArN provide a place to experiment and grow artists' ideas with causal referencing of conceptual and contemporary art in many areas such as awe, motherhood, the nature of things, social issues and more.
